Exploring a new city like Berlin is fun and exciting but finding inexpensive accommodations can be a bit daunting. Camping or even glamping is a perfect way to find interesting places to stay that will not break the bank.

Berlin is a historic city with many buildings that date back to the 13th century. You will want to spend plenty of time exploring. Plan to see the Brandenburg Gate that divided the city during the Cold War, the remnants of the Berlin Wall, and the Holocaust memorial. These are only a few things you will want to see while camping near Berlin.

Even if you have rented a motorhome or cabin, do not leave your things at your campsite. Instead, find suitcase storage in Berlin to keep your possessions safe while you are out exploring.

Check out some of these campgrounds that are in or very near to Berlin for your next camping adventure. Rent an RV, stay in a cabin, or pitch a tent and spend a few nights under the stars!

Camping Krossinsee

Located on Wernsdorfer Street in Berlin, this campground offers plenty of room to stretch out and enjoy a relaxing weekend roughing it in a tent. Pitch your tent in a large meadow surrounded by nature, right in the heart of Berlin.

There are no electric connections so you would be truly roughing it, but it is a great way for family and friends to reconnect and spend some time relaxing while still being able to tour Berlin.

RVs and motorhomes are also welcome to park along a tree-lined lane with spacious campsites. Bring the kids along and they will spend hours playing on the adventure playground and hanging out at the leisure club.

Visit during the summer months and enjoy the beer garden at both locations. Sit back and watch the wildlife that wanders by, fire up the grill, and share a meal with some of your fellow campers.

Campground Berlin – Inh. Helge Duijkers Campsite

Located near the subway, this campground offers relaxing campsites plus hot showers and modern toilets. The downside is that you do have to pay for the use of the showers and toilets. You are just a short walk to public transportation to take you into the city.

The staff is very friendly and willing to help with any problems or complaints you may have. Set up your tent or pull your camper in and then head off to explore Berlin and all its fantastic attractions.

Berlin Camping Club – Place Bürgerablage
